3 months later I am just now doing my About Me post. haha! Hey everyone. I am Mallarie Phillips and I am from Calhoun, Louisiana! I am 19 as of last month and attend University of Louisiana in Monroe where I am currently a cheerleader and majoring in nursing. Woo Hoo! I went to Brazil last summer with my best friend, family, and church family and absolutely loved it. I am very excited to spend the summer in Africa with all of you! love traveling especially on mission trips and retreats and am super pmped at what God has in store for us. YAY!! I have a younger brother and soon to be sister from Germany who is coming to live with us for a year as a foreign exchange student. My mom left for Haiti a couple weeks after the earthquake with a medical team for 10 days. I wanted to go so bad! My dad is a leader in our church and he is a supervisor at Centurylink. He is great! I recently have found this new fun hobby of Geocaching and I like to be active like playing games, sports, riding bikes, running, and HAVING FUN DOING ANYTHING, etc. God has revealed to me things this past year only He could do and it has made a radical difference in my life. I love to talk and interact with anyone and I cant wait to meet and interact with my new Mission Family and let God lead us into foreign land to impact the lives of others while He impacts us also. Yipppppeeeeee!!!!!

This is my family!! We are an interesting crew. This pic will only make sense to LSU fans and a certain thing that Les Miles called during the Ole Miss vs Lsu game. Nevertheless my family is FUN!
