Hey Team X!

So, I am hoping that you all received the email today apologizing for the packing list error. We are so sorry for the mix-up! But I am at least happy that we caught it in time!

I know that this may cause some panicked thoughts, but don't worry, we will help you work it all out!
Again here is the list of 'must haves' that is in addition to the general packing list in your profile;

    1. 1-2 man tent, just make sure there is room enough for you and your stuff. (Walmart, $20 one will work fine.)

    2. A mess kit of some kind, again WalMart will be fine

    3. Water bottle, Nalgene or something like that (Target$10)

    4. A Hiking pack, we recommend around a 70 liter one. OK this is the part where you don't freak out. We will figure this out together. Your trip is a mobile trip, and you will move around a lot.

The Hiking Pack – This is absolutely necessary for this trip. We will be trekking into the bush in Kenya to an isolated village which may take a day or two of walking to get there. You will be carrying your own belongings (who's excited?!?). Also because of the nature of this trip, moving between ministry locations it is much easier for transportation if we have packs. Trust me, you will be grateful for less stuff to drag around!

Don't worry, there are options! Some of you may already have a pack or are planning on buying one. If not, you may need to ask around for one to borrow. Ask friends, family, and be sure to let your church know that you are looking for one, you never know who can pull one out of the woodwork and lend to you! The pack does not have to be anything special, it simply needs to contain your stuff and fit comfortably on your back!

It is also possible that you may find an incredible deal on a used pack! check with some online sites for your area, outlet stores/websites, etc. I will have a list of websites for you very soon that may help, and I will post them as a comment below.

*What I need to know from you guys is, who already has a pack and who does not, and for those who don't what are your options and plans for getting one – remember that we are here to help you get what you need, don't panic, God knows your needs for this trip and He will provide!

Please comment below or send me an email with these details ASAP.

Just in case; my phone # is  1-519-330-5570

feel free to ask questions! I am praying for you all! Happy Packing!
