Hello! My name is Morgan Lewis and I am 19 years old. I live in Wayne, West Virginia with my family who I love very much and 3 pets (2 cats and a dog). I go to school at Marshall University where I am a junior majoring in Elementary Education. I work at a local elementary school three days a week and I love it so much! Jesus Christ saved my soul on March 13, 1997 in my mom's car and it has been, and will continue to be, the best day of my life! My church means everything to me and the people who go there are my best friends. My church is small, but we have a heart for missions and are planning a trip to Haiti in 2011. 

This trip to Africa is a huge prayer answered in my life. Since I have remembered, the Lord has always put it on my heart to do missions work. With my church being small, however, I had never really been presented with the opportunity. In the summer of 2008 at a church camp, though, the Lord told me my church didn't have to be huge for me to go on a mission trip. After that summer, I searched for opportunities, found a few, but those doors were shut. Although I was discouraged, I knew the Lord didn't show me certain verses and speak to me for nothing. During this time of my searching, I began to develop a huge passion and burden for Africa. The Lord works in ways that I can't even understand, because my friend Kati Bailey went to Swaziland with Adventures In Missions and little did I know that she would introduce me to AIM! After talking to Kati, the Lord worked everything out and here I am preparing for a 2 month mission trip to Africa. The Lord is so good!

Words cannot express how excited I am to go on this trip and see what the Lord is going to do both in Africa and in my life. He has already blessed me tremendously, and I cannot imagine what He has in store!
